Prenatal Pilates Vs. Regular Exercise
During pregnancy the hormone relaxin is doing its job and making your ligaments more flexible and whilst this is a great thing for labour, it is not great for doing traditional workouts. Your pelvic and stomach muscles experience a lot of strain during the pregnancy process and, if the stomach muscles are weak, you may suffer from pelvic pain and/or back pain.
